Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nursing care in line with hospital policies and clinical protocols. 

  • Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate medical documentation. 

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. 

  • Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and patient assessments. 

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control, and patient safety. 

  • Provide emotional support, guidance, and education to patients and their families. 

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. 

 

Eligibility Criteria: 

Educational Qualification

  • BSc Nursing, or GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Diploma 

Experience Requirements

  • 1–2 years clinical experience for General Ward positions 

  • 3–4 years’ experience preferred for specialized departments: 

  1. ICU 

  2. Emergency 

  3. Operation Theatre 

  4. Critical Care

 

Licensing Requirements

  • Valid Indian Nursing Council Registration

  • Mauritius Nursing Council Registration 

(Temporary registration will be arranged by the employer)

 

Language Requirements

  • English: Mandatory 

French: Advantageous but not mandatory

Salary: MUR 28,000 – 35,000 per month, And

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery

  • Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures, and workflows

  • Manage scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop administrative and clinical support staff

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and training

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered culture

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Bermuda Health Council standards and relevant regulations

  • Maintain accurate records, policies, and operational documentation

  • Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes

Financial & Business Performance

  • Manage budgets, billing processes, and cost control measures

  • Monitor KPIs, revenue streams, and operational performance

  • Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and service improvement

Patient Experience​

  • Ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction

  • Handle escalated patient queries and complaints professionally

  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery

 

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager or similar role (healthcare setting preferred)

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Solid understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, and governance

  • Financial and operational management experience

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Willingness to relocate to Bermuda

  • Salary: B$85,000 per annum
